How Do You Care For A Baby Ferret?
I just lost my ferret and in a couple of months will be getting a baby ferret. My ferret was two when I got her so I dont know what needs to be done with a baby?
What kind of things do you need to train them? Please tell me everything I need to know to care for a new baby ferret.

http://www.ferretcentral.org is an excellent site. Babies can be nippy, so watch for that. Also, when they fall asleep, it’s like they’re dead they sleep so soundly! Scared me to death the first time mine did that! Otherwise, just get him used to being handled, having his toenails trimmed, etc.

i got a baby ferret from jannettes ferret farm years ago
he was so small had to bottle feed him a couple of times a day,but this builds a bond bettween you,
litter training is pretty easy as they go in the corner if he goes out of the litter box just scoup it up and place it in there he will get it,you can go to most pet stores now and get stuff for them vitamen suplement s and such when he gets on solid food remmeber cheaper is not NOT better get the good stuff
iam’s hi proteen cat food or a good ferret feed.
these are great pets i think best of both cats and dog’s dont bark or tear up the furniture and don’t need to be walked.
but need lot’s of your love and attention,
also there is a ferret for dummies book out that has a
ton of usefull information..
also don;t know if your aware they can put small chip in you ferret so you can find him if he gets away some people think it’s not right but i guess that’s a judgment call im not up on it enough to know,but you can check into it if you like since you already lost one..
