If you show a good example by living and explaning this to your child(ren), then you have done all you can. Unfortunately some people don't care, and you can't change them. Here in California, I think the schools have been bringing environmental issues up, such a recycling, and conservation. They teach the young ones early, so that way they can bring these lessons home. Unfortunatly, even though they and we know better, we don't always practice it with everything we do. The best way we can start is by recycling, and here in California, we have a lot of recycling bins everywhere we go. It has to start in the home.
