I think there are good kids and bad kids in all classes of society.
I think the rich kids probably get into a lot less legal jams because their parents have the money and influence to use the system to get them off whereas the poor kids end up getting sent to detention centers and in the system as kids and then adults because they don’t have the parents attention or money.
There are a lot of poor people who have to work multiple jobs just to buy the basics. Those are the kids who I am worried about! The kids who don’t get time or money. I am so blessed. That’s all I can say. I am so blessed to be able to stay home with my kids and also live a comfortable lifestyle. We aren’t rich but we aren’t struggling anymore and I get to stay home with my 3 babies instead of work just to scrape by. How tragic that is when people work all the time and then have nothing to show for it!

Mine was gone at least one week a month, sometimes more. I started staying alone when I was in high school and well I had to have 3 abortion before I was 17. Had done almost every drug before I was 19. Been drunk many many many times before I was 21. And I am lucky to still be alive. I’m now 23 married have a almost 3 year old, a set of twins that just turned 1 year old, & I’m 26 weeks pregnant. (all girls) Just bought a for closer for almost nothing in an upper class neighborhood in California close to where I grew up. My husband & I both make about 45,000 a year. We spend holidays with my husbands family. We hardly ever see my family. And I have a lot of resentment for them. I’ll never make those mistakes with my girls.

My husband grew up loving his nanny more than his parents. He felt neglected by them. He acted out early by taking a flask to his private school to drink. He smoked cigarettes and pot by age 11. He stole stuff from the country club lockers. Fortunately, his loving aunt and uncle took him for a summer (age 13)…and it changed him. He always had a sweet heart, but needed real, loving guidance. We have been married for 9 years…and only for the past couple of years can I truly say that he can tell me how he feels. He has always had a hard time opening up because no one cared to listen to him when he was a child.

On average they normally they end up not really knowing their own parents. They usually end up repeating the cycle and do the same thing when they have their own kids.
