What does the record say about kids of divorced parents becoming, you know, divorcees themselves, basket cases, drug addicts, and $2 whores.
I know what popular wisdom says, I know what *counter*-wisdom says, and I know there are examples on all sides of the spectrum.
But what does the *record* say about the odds of divorced kids turning out alright?

It’s an interesting situation. The kids are teenagers and the parents are already separated. They split times with the kids, but instead of each of them getting there own place and the kids going back and forth the kids are staying in the family home full time and the parents are going back and forth between separate homes they have acquired.
In the story, the kid ran away from home with his little brother following. They jumped a train where his friend died. He eventually ended up playing piano for a traveling circus while his brother learned and played the banjo. In the end, they go back home as the great depression lifts. I read it as a kid and would like my son to read it as well because it describes how hard times were back then. I thank you in advance for your help!
ive been living back in my house for the last 6 month with my family after a house fire,a few days ago i ound out the builders did a bit o a dodgy and only repaired half the roof and beams.the beams that were left is charred and burnt apart from the roof falling in is there any long term health risk i should be worrid aboit for my childen from livinf in and around the wood

Really, let’s say you adopt, spend $2 million on each child, and it’s still disabled, or not right mentally. You know it will never have a future.
And whether you are 40 or 85 as a foster parent, that child will still be in your home and guess what who will support it then, when the money runs out??
