My aunt and uncle were killed in an accident about 6 or 7 months ago so their kids ages 4-15 came to live with my family and i. I also have siblings and other cousins too. We want to make sure that these kids have a really good Christmas. I dont really know what else to say.
I really want to know how much homework your kids have when they come home from school everyday. (Well or how much they just had!) I don’t remember ever having the homework my kids have.
I will start – mine are in 3rd and 4th grade.
3rd grader has this math assignment every single night (it is one of two papers) even on Fridays and is supposed to read for about a half an hour.
4th grader has math of about 30 problems (pre-algerba) spelling words written 5x each (10 words) and has so to read for about that same half an hour. Also on Fridays too.
I never understood the reading thing, they read for like an hour everyday IN school, both my boys read well above their grade levels.
I think it is too much homework myself.

Hi, I am doing a paper on cyberbullying and I can’t seem to find the effects a tormenting message will have on kids. I know of suicide and drop in grades. But what else? Thanks.
I’m referring to the parents who have high paying professional jobs that require them to travel a lot and who are not home all the time with their kids. The type of parents who hire maids or have the money to send their children to boarding schools.
I don’t like to over generalize, but I’m just curious to know what normally happens to these types of kids on average.
Hey all how old does a baby have to be to travel by air over seas. My mother in law has cancer and wants to see the baby she was suppose to come here but now she is having problems and the doctors say she shouldn’t. This poses a proble with me because I am not thrilled in having to take my newborn son to over seas. But I want her to see her grandson. What’s your advise.

How can a man with a kid like and openly date in an emotional way with another woman? Why did he get married and have a kid then? They have happy photos together with the kid and the woman on facebook too.
The other day a friend asked me,”How old should a child be allowed to have an email?” I didn’t know how to repley. Please say how old you think a kid should be.
Before your baby is born how many pairs of clothes should you have on hand for the baby? Can you provide any specifics on clothes as to what kinds of clothes to have? I’m six months pregnant with a girl.

My sister-in-law is having her first baby. My mother-in-law threw her a baby shower 2 days ago and invited the entire family. It was a large shower. Today in the mail I received an invitation for another baby shower for her that is being thrown by a close friend who was in attendance at the first shower. I already bought a gift for the first shower. Do I have to get her another gift or even attend the 2nd shower?
My daughter’s Catholic school has a growing native Spanish-speaking population. Isn’t it a waste of time for these kids to have to sit through grade-school Spanish language class, learning about the words for cats and dogs and such?
Maybe the school should switch to another foreign language so that all the kids are on the same page?

put a law into effect this year every one must buy insurance.
This is impossible for millions who are common laborers,and can not pay rent or afford food.There is no longer welfare,they
have transitional assistance,so when a battered woman with 2-3-4- children gets left alone they may collect tiny money for one year only.These mothers then have to find work,with no car,no money for child care and yes none of them have insurance.Do you all know where billions and billions of tax dollars go.It is a disgrace.
