Posted on November 24th, 2009 in Articles by Tangkau

How do you get your kids signed up for toys for tots? Or the Christmas Food Baskets. I live in Waukegan Illinois and I lost my job in October and I’m on unemployment. I qualified for WIC, and my two girls qualified for all kids insurance. I tried calling the salvation army in the area but the prerecorded message said they are not taking on any new clients until January. Money is really tight.

In My As-yet-unpublished Version Of The Bible, Even Poor Kids Have Health Insurance. Is That Wrong?

Posted on August 13th, 2009 in Articles by Tangkau

Poor children should have health insurance, food and shelter.
Suzie you are not paying for them, their are millions with out, many children in the U.S. are homeless and no room in shelters.watch the movie” John Q ” based on true story.Mass.
put a law into effect this year every one must buy insurance.
This is impossible for millions who are common laborers, and can not pay rent or afford food. There is no longer welfare, they
have transitional assistance,so when a battered woman with 2-3-4- children gets left alone they may collect tiny money for one year only. These mothers then have to find work, with no car,no money for child care and yes none of them have insurance.Do you all know where billions and billions of tax dollars go.It is a disgrace.

If you are healthy then you will want to check out individual health insurance options. Individual health insurance is much cheaper than group health insurance in most states but you must meet certain underwriting standards in order to be accepted onto the plan.
The key when deciding on which plan you want is to choose a plan with no annual limits and no procedure limits. For the most part, as long as you stick with a large and trusted company like Blue Cross Blue Shield, United Healthcare, Humana, Aetna, etc. then you will be fine.
Compare quotes from as many of the top companies as you can and you will find a pretty cheap plan. Here is some more information on finding an affordable health insurance plan:

My Ex-wife Has Contacted The Dhs Even Though I Pay Child Support And Provide Health Insurance For My Kids?

Posted on August 7th, 2009 in Articles by Tangkau

I got a message from my ex-wife that she needs a letter from me stating how much I pay in child support so that she and the kids can get Tenncare. She is telling me that she “had to agree to let them go after me for health insurance on the kids”, but that it should not matter since I already provide it. I am getting the feeling that she is trying to pull a fast one. If I already have court-ordered child support in place, can the DHC just change the amount without a hearing or without me being there? I am currently deployed to Iraq at the moment, and will not be home for a few more months.
