Corgi Owners/breeders: How Are They With Kids & How Is Their Health?

We have been wanting a medium-sized dog (apartment owner says 50 lbs and under!) for a while now. So we are narrowing our search down and we think Corgis are adorable, but we don’t know much about their temperament and health. Overall, how would you rate their health on a scale of 1 to 10? Any major problems, like hip dysplasia or anything like that a common breed trait? Also, in your experience, how are they with kids? Our 1 year old daughter loves my sisters’ dog (lab mix), she climbs all over her, hugs her and gives her kisses! So we will be looking for a puppy or young dog, so he or she will essentially grow up with our daughter. We hope that will make for a great family dog, but if their nature is not a cuddly kid-loving pooch, I would hate to push it on the poor dog! Please let me know what you think, and other breed suggestions would also be appreciated! Thank you!!

I have been wanting to volunteer in like shelters for kids. but its been hard for me to know where to start. I just saw a tv show of this real life story about a kid who couldnt hear..They had to raise a lot of money for them to be able to put him something that will let him hear. It was really nice how the kid felt after he could hear again. Is there a place here in Los Angeles CA that they have like foundaions that i can go and volunteer and help them raise money and stuff like that? help me out. i dontknow where to start from

This is impossible for millions who are common laborers,and can not pay rent or afford food.There is no longer welfare,they
have transitional assistance,so when a battered woman with 2-3-4- children gets left alone they may collect tiny money for one year only.These mothers then have to find work,with no car,no money for child care and yes none of them have insurance.Do you all know where billions and billions of tax dollars go.It is a disgrace.

I just got married in February and although we have been together a long time DSHS never took my “boyfriends” income into consideration, so my kids had insurance through the state of Washington. Now, because we are married, they count his income and we make too much to qualify. this leaves my kids with no insurance and to buy insurance through his work is no better than buying your own private insurance and would be about $600 a month for two kids. How do they expect us to afford this when we can barely pay our rent and buy groceries? I have tried Basic Health, SCHIP and all the low income insurers and we are just over all of their qualifications. I already stay at home so we can’t make less money. We are seriously considering getting divorced (and staying together of course) just so our kids can be healthy. Are there any other options???

Due to rising costs! Yesterday my daughter wanted to go to Yo suisi as a treat, the last time 5 of us went there just for lunch it was 100 euro! So I said no sorry we will go to Mac donalds instead! Now a couple of yrs ago I would have taken them to anywhere rather than Macdonalds, but nowadays everything is expensive! ( I did have some smoked salmon ready for her later that night) so didn’t feel too bad!
