Little kid gets owned by her Dad. Child abuse? You be the judge! Being Dad! Every kid wants a toy EVERY time you bring them to the store. You cant leave them in the vehicle for obvious reasons, and every thing in the store is designed to make your kids want something!! This video helps us laugh at our shopping problems. Song written and sang by the Dad and the daughter does the back up voicing. The concept idea and filming was all done in less than 1 hour including the lyrics. The little girl was instructed to just ad lib. She did a fantastic job and ultimately got that littlest pet shop toy that she wanted. www.allanapratt.com Something I find when we become very busy as moms is that we have a lot of things to do and taking care of ourselves, there is no room for that in all of the things we do. In one of the first feelings for me that came up when I started to take care of myself was a feeling of shame, feeling of guilt. Who am I to take care of myself first when there is laundry to do, dishes to do, dinners to be made and having this family that I truly wanted to have. So what I had to do was start saying, I am willing to feel this shame and this guilt right now but what I am going to do is go take a bath and I am going to let the video, just for half an hour my son can watch a video. To night we are going to get take out, I am not going to make you dinner tonight. Be willing to feel those feelings. They will pass and soon it will be natural for you to take care of yourself. But be willing to be a little uncomfortable first on the journey to being at peace with who you are.
